The Centre for Mangrove Conservation and Restoration (CMCR) is a dedicated initiative of the Research and Education for Environmental Foundation (REEF), established to protect, restore, and sustainably manage mangrove ecosystems along vulnerable coastal regions. CMCR plays a vital role in enhancing coastal resilience, conserving biodiversity, and supporting climate change mitigation through nature-based solutions.
Our work integrates scientific research, blue carbon studies, habitat restoration, and ecological monitoring with strong community participation and stakeholder engagement.
